The Jane Hotel Shop

The Jane Hotel is a historically iconic space that transformed in waves, like the landscape of New York City. It opened in 1908 and was originally used as a sailors lodging for NYC ports. In the 1940s, the YMCA took over the hotel and named it the Seaman’s Relief Center. Later in the 70s and 80s the hotel served the period's bohemian culture.

The Jane Hotel Shop is a modern approach to a hotel gift shop, that would foster a space for hotel guests and tourist where they can shop high-end goods and essentials during their stay.
